Mother's Day is fast approaching and sometimes we have a hard time figuring out what to get the woman who seems to have everything.
When you ask her what she would like for Mother's Day you will inevitably get the "I have everything I need," response. Here are a few suggestions for gifts that your mother will really love to get on her special day.
Crafts for a Crafty Mom
Is your mom crafty? If so, consider picking up craft supplies at the craft store for Mother's Day. If she loves to knit and crochet go find some knitting needles or crochet hooks and yarn. Maybe a pattern book would be good.
If Mom likes to sew go to the notions area of your sewing store and pick up needles, thread, bobbins for the sewing machine, seam rippers, and other similar items.
If Mom is into scrapbooking there are lots of things you can get like paper punches, pretty papers, etc. If she likes to draw get sketch books, pencils and colored pencils or watercolors. Just go to the craft store and ask someone to help you if you're unfamiliar with the tools associated with a particular craft; you're sure to come back with a gift Mom will love.

Does Mom like jewelry? If so, this makes a great gift idea for Mother's Day.
Earrings are always a favorite but make sure she doesn’t have an allergy to some metals. If so make sure to get hypo-allergenic jewelry.
You can find many of the lower cost jewelry stores and stock up on necklaces, rings, bracelets, and even some hair accessories. Just be sure to get what she would want instead of what really looks good to you.
Movies, CD's, and Video Games
Some moms like to watch movies so see what she watches the most and find a DVD she would like to have.
Other mothers like music and have an extensive CD collection. Find out who her favorite music artist is and get the newest CD.
And believe it or not, some moms love video games. If your mom is one of them see what game she might like and get it for her.
Candy as a Mother's Day Gift
Candy, like gourmet chocolates, might be a good thing to get mom for Mother’s Day but make sure she isn’t on a special diet or just trying to lose weight!
Dinner or Gift Certificates and Gift Cards for Mother's Day
Take Mom out to dinner or lunch on Mother’s Day. Many restaurants have Mother’s Day brunches where you can wine and dine Mom.
If dining out amongst the crowds isn't her style, give Mom a gift certificate for her favorite restaurant and then she can go whenever she wants to.
Gift Certificates to get Mom’s car washed are always appreciated. Then she doesn’t have to bring out the bucket and hose. If you are still at a loss for what to get Mom after this list, just get her a gift card for the store she likes to go to the most.
